AGAHE, with financial support from GAIN, organized a multi-stakeholder meeting in Multan in collaboration with the Agriculture Extension Department (AED). The meeting focused on several important topics, including benefits of biofortified zinc wheat, role of zinc in nutrition, impact of climate change on agriculture, and balanced use of fertilizers. The participants in the meeting came from various sectors, including Agriculture Extension Department, academic institutions, farmers, and aggregators. The aim was to discuss ways to improve agricultural practices and ensure better health and nutrition through the use of zinc-enriched wheat.
