AGAHE and Welthungerhilfe (WHH) have successfully organized a learning exchange and experience sharing visit for sectors partners in Pakistan to showcase innovative climate resilient and sustainable WASH models, including a solar-powered coin vending machine operated RO water filtration plant and a Sewage Treatment Unit. The visit aimed to highlight effective, system-based interventions to improve WASH outcomes, encourage the adoption and scaling of these infrastructure models by sector partners, and enhance collaboration and capacity building for advancing sustainable WASH systems in Pakistan.
The event ensured strong engagement from key stakeholders across Pakistan including JICA, UNICEF, Muslim Hands Pakistan, PPAF, WaterAid Pakistan, Qatar Charity (QC), Mercy Corps, HANDS, LPP, FDO, Doaba, Aman Welfare, Peny Appeal, REEDS, NIDA-Pakistan, LASOONA, Community Development Foundation (CDF), Human Organization for Peaceful Environment (HOPE), Fast Rural Development Program (FRDP) and Sukaar Foundation (SF). Participants shared valuable insights and feedback, commended the efforts of AGAHE and WHH, and expressed their commitment to implementing these models in their own respective areas.
