AGAHE and WHH, in close coordination with the District Government Muzaffargarh, Deputy Commissioner Ms. Qurat-ul-Ain, and Punjab Emergency Services Rescue 1122 Muzaffargarh, jointly hosted a seminar on precautionary measures against heat stroke.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Muzaffargarh, attended the event as Chief Guest and appreciated the ongoing government initiatives addressing climate change. He also acknowledged the efforts of development partners in promoting climate-resilient infrastructure. Mr. Ubaid, District Officer Rescue 1122, highlighted the critical role of development partners in raising awareness on climate change and catastrophic events such as heat strokes.
Precautionary measures against heat stroke were discussed through open dialogue sessions conducted by Rescue 1122 and the Health Department. Participants included students from local schools and colleges, ensuring active youth engagement.
AGAHE remains committed to supporting the District Government through various WASH initiatives, particularly focusing on climate-resilient WASH interventions, contributing towards the achievement of SDG 6.
