AGAHE, in collaboration with Rescue

AGAHE, in collaboration with Rescue 1122, conducted a two-day Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) training on January 27-28, 2025, in Basti Cheembian Wali, UC Mokal, District Kasur. The training aimed to strengthen community capacity in disaster preparedness.
Participants received an orientation on AGAHE’s objectives and the significance of CBDRM. The sessions, delivered through presentations and live demonstrations, covered key disaster management topics. Group activities further reinforced learning, with participants preparing and presenting on assigned topics.
Local stakeholders, including the UC Chairman, Vice Chairman, Numberdar, and Imam of the Jamia Masjid, actively contributed to discussions. The event was highly successful in enhancing community knowledge and preparedness for disaster response.
