AGAHE, in collaboration with Rescue 1122, with the support of PPAF successfully conducted a two days Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) Training aimed at building the capacity of communities and community institutions (CI) on 13 and 14 March 2025 in Village Rohella, UC Rohella, District Okara. Through presentation and live demonstration, the event was highly productive and effectively enhanced the participant’s knowledge and preparedness for managing disasters in their community. It had also brought together key local stakeholders including the UC Chairman, Vice Chairrman, and Imam of the Jamia Masjid, who contributed to the training discussions and activities. Their participation fostered interactive learning and strengthened practical understanding of disaster risk management.
