AGAHE, under the scaling-up of biofortified zinc wheat, conducted an awareness session with women and men farmers as part of the “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence” campaign in which the Country Director GAIN, Farah Naz, Project Manager GAIN, Syed Qaisar Saeed and Dr. Abdullah Avais, Programs Manger AGAHE were also present.
Discussions focused on how empowering women can improve family nutrition, boost household income, and contribute to reducing cycles of violence and inequality. Farmers were encouraged to actively support women’s participation in decision-making processes, promoting gender equity as a foundation for stronger, more sustainable communities.
