AGAHE and WHH have taken a comprehensive approach for improving access to safe drinking water. First, solarized RO water filtration plants with coin vending machines were installed to provide clean and safe drinking water. To ensure sustained use, a series of awareness-raising sessions were conducted to educate communities on the importance of collecting water from safe sources.
In addition, over 800 vulnerable households were provided with Jerry Cans to facilitate safe water storage and handling. This initiative marks a significant step toward achieving SDG 6 – by combining infrastructure development with community engagement and behavior change.
