Building Climate Resilience: AGAHE and PPAF Conduct ER Training in Okara

AGAHE, with the support of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) under the project Restoring Social Services and Climate Resilience, organized a three-day Emergency Response (ER) Training for 30 ER members (18 male, 12 female) from UC Attari and UC Rohela, Tehsil Depalpur, District Okara, in collaboration with Rescue 1122.
Certificates were distributed by Mr. Ishtiaq Khan (Deputy Director Social Welfare), Dr. Zafar Iqbal (District Emergency Officer, Rescue 1122), Mr. Tariq (Tehsil Officer, Rescue 1122), and a representative from the Assistant Commissioner’s Office, Depalpur. The training strengthened local disaster response capacity and marked progress in women’s empowerment and community resilience.
