With the financial support of GAIN, AGAHE organized a Farmers Field Day in Multan, Khanewal, and Bahawalpur. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about Biofortified Zinc Wheat (BZW) varieties, the importance of zinc in diet, diseases caused by zinc deficiency, separate harvesting & segregation practices of BZW, and recommendations on its proper storage methods. Different stakeholders participated in the event, including the Agriculture Extension Department, FFC, Academia, CRP’s & Farmers.
