The Government of Punjab, through the P&D Board in collaboration with HUD & PHED, Local Government, and development partners including WHH, AGAHE, and UNICEF Pakistan, has launched the Punjab Climate Resilient WASH Sector Development Plan along with the first-ever District WASH Plan for Muzaffargarh (2025–2035) at the P&D Auditorium, Lahore.
“This whole-of-government response ensures safe drinking water and sanitation for every citizen of Punjab,” shared officials at the launch.
The event was attended by Mr. Rafaqat Ali (Secretary P&D), Mr. Yasir Mubeen (Senior Chief WASH P&D), senior government officials, civil society representatives, and international development partners.
This landmark plan will guide WASH investments, partnerships, and policies over the next decade, advancing sustainability and ensuring no one is left behind.
