AGAHE hosted an exposure visit of the District Coordination Committee on Nutrition (DCCN), organized by the WADO Sindh in collaboration with the SPO.
Representatives from government departments and partner organizations from Sindh participated, including Yar Muhammad (DDMA In-charge, DC Office Khairpur), Mudassir Mir (Assistant Director Social Welfare), Dr. Tabish and Dr. Abdullah Fateh (Deputy DHOs), Muhammad Tahir (PWD), Mir Muhammad Kaleem (Training Officer), Suhail Hussain (Agriculture Officer), and Manzoor Ahmad (Tehsil Officer, Population Department). From partner organizations, attendees included Amjad Baloch (RM SPO), Zohaib Mir (DPM SPO), Zahida Parveen (Chairperson WADO), and Suresh Kumar (Project Manager WADO).
During the visit, participants were briefed on AGAHE’s interventions under the Scaling up Biofortified Zinc Wheat (SU BZW) project. The delegation visited women entrepreneur Gulzar Mai, Awais Atta Chaki (flour processing unit), and the CBO in 26/10R. They appreciated AGAHE’s strong community engagement and sustainable field-level interventions. WADO also presented visibility kits — including a mug, bottle, diary, and Ajrak — to the AGAHE team as a token of appreciation and goodwill.
