AGAHE and WHH, in close coordination with the District Government Muzaffargarh, the Women Protection Authority, and the Social Welfare Department, successfully organized the International Women’s Day celebration on March 8, 2025, at the Zila Council Hall in Muzaffargarh. The event, themed “Accelerate Action for ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment,” garnered significant participation from senior district officials and stakeholders across the District.
The event featured a panel discussion with senior officials from various departments and civil society organizations, who shared valuable insights and strategies to strengthen the protection of women’s rights and promote gender equality.
The Worthy Deputy Commissioner, Madam Engr. Qurat-ul-Ain Memon, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered a keynote address. In her speech, she reaffirmed her commitment to advancing women’s empowerment and protection in the district. She also highlighted the pivotal role of AGAHE & all civil societies in creating a safe and enabling environment for women to thrive.
The celebration underscored the collective efforts of AGAHE, WHH, and the District Government Muzaffargarh in enhancing women’s empowerment and protection. The event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration and action to achieve gender equality and social justice.
